In Kazakhstan, beef has risen in price by more than 14%, lamb - by 13% PDF Print E-mail

In Kazakhstan food prices in September 2017 compared to September 2016 increased by 7.8%, according to the Republican Committee on Statistics.

According to statisticians, all major products have risen in price, except for sugar and cereals.

Thus, prices for coffee, tea and cocoa rose by 14.8%, confectionery products by 12.5%, fruit and vegetables by 10.5%, alcoholic drinks by 10%, dairy products by 9.9% , fish and seafood - by 8.6%, bakery and flour products - by 8.4%, bread - by 3.3%, pasta - by 2.6%, flour - by 2.4%.

For 12 months on the Kazakhstani counters, sugar fell in price by 14.3%, cereals - by 12.2%.

The increase in prices for meat and meat products for the period amounted to 11.4%, reports the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”. The price level for beef grew 14.2% higher, mutton - 13.4%, pork - 10.9%, poultry meat - 10.1%, horse meat - 8.7%, sausages – 7.2%.
