Potato, pepper and onion significantly increased in price in Kazakhstan over a year PDF Print E-mail

Inflation in the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2017 was 7.1%, according to the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Prices for foodstuffs for the past year increased by 6.5%, non-food products - by 8.9%, paid services - by 5.9%.

From the beginning of the year (December 2017 to December 2016), statisticians fixed price increases for potatoes by 28.7%, sweet pepper - by 28.6%, onion by 28.2%, carrots by 19.3% beef - by 15.3%, mutton - by 14.1%, canned milk - by 11.6%, butter - by 11.3%, confectionery products - by 10.7%, cheese rennet - by 10.3% %, horse meat - by 9.8%, fresh fish - by 9.4%, reports the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”.

The decrease in prices was fixed for buckwheat by 28%, garlic - by 25.6%, sugar - by 19.5%, tomatoes, eggs - by 16%, cucumbers - by 12.5%, sunflower oil - by 9.9%, cabbage - by 5.2%.
