In January, the rise in prices in Astana was noted for wheat bread from the premium grade flour by 3.9 percent, rice - by 2.2 percent, sour cream - by 1.7 percent, eggs - by 1.3 percent,vermicelli, spaghetti - by 1.2 percent, pearl barley, semolina - by 1.1 percent, oat groats - by 0.8 percent, cottage cheese, wheat bread from the flour of the first grade - by 0.7 percent, kefir - by 0.6 percent, noodles - by 0.5 percent, millet - by 0.4 percent, reported the IA “Kazakh-Zerno”, referring to the data of the capital's statistics department.

At the same time, black tea fell in price by 2.2%, buckwheat - by 1.7%, sugar - by 0.5%, chicken legs,beef - by 0.4 percent, rye bread - by 0.3 percent, mutton - by 0.2%.

Of vegetables, cucumbers rose in price by 21.3 percent, tomatoes - by 16.3 percent, beets - by 9.1 percent, potatoes - by 7.9 percent, onion - by 6.5 percent, carrot - by 3.5 percent, white cabbage - by 2.4 percent.
